Worcester - Albert Robert Sutkus age 95 of Worcester, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Mary Health Care Center, Worcester. 

He was born in Worcester son of the late John C. Sutkus and Julia (Vaitkus) Sutkus.  He graduated Commerce High School in 1940 and lived in Worcester all his life.  He served in the Army Air Corps, stationed in the Fiji Islands during WWII, from 1940 to 1945.   He was a house painter, dreamer, and contemplative.  He loved fishing.  He was a kind, caring, and generous man.

He leaves a niece Kathi Sutton of Whitefield, ME; two nieces, Debbie Sutkus and Carol Kelly, and a nephew, Ken Sutkus, all of Worcester; a nephew, Bob Sutton of Inverness, FL; a niece Nancy White of Lake Worth, FL; and a nephew Steve Sutkus of Chicopee, MA.  Albert was predeceased by a sister, Alexandria Sutton, and two brothers, John and Algerd Sutkus, and his dear friend Elsie Carlson.

There will be no calling hours and burial will be in Hope Cemetery Worcester at a later date.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may light a candle or post a condolence.
