Thompson, CT- Lino Christo age 85 died Friday, May 12, 2017, at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI. 

He was the husband of the late Estelle L. (Girard) Christo who died in 2012.  He leaves several children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a brother and sisters.

He was born in Providence, RI, son of the late Joseph and Rena Christo and lived in Thompson for the past 12 years, prior to that living in Smithfield, RI. He was a U..S. Army veteran of Korea.  He attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He was an artist and sculptor and loved music. In his younger years he enjoyed boxing.  He was a life member of the BPO Elks in E. Providence, RI. 

There are no calling hours. Private, Military Services will be held at the Exeter, RI National Cemetery.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you can post a condolence or a memory.
