Worcester- Claire A. (Bourke) Rountree, age 84, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester. 

She was the wife of the late Clement L. Rountree.  She leaves a son,  Richard and his wife Patricia Sweares Jr. of Leicester; three daughters Deborah and her husband Neil Berthiaume of Hancock, Maine, Kathleen Coro of Worcester, Elizabeth Card of Plymouth, 19 grandchildren and many great-grndchildren; a brother, Richard Bourke of Worcester; a sister, Janet Belanger of North Chelmsford; two stepsons, Gary Rountree and his wife Risa of Barnstable, Brian Rountree and his wife Leslie of Plymouth; stepdaughter, Linda Rondinone and her husband James of Block Island.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Emile and Gabrielle I. (Berthiaume) Bourke and lived in Florida, moving to Worcester four years ago.  She worked in the meat department at may local stores.  She was a avid bingo player.

There are no calling hours and there will be a private Celebration of Life.  The family requests that donations in her memory be made to donors favorite charity.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available where you may light a candle or share a message of condolence at www.shaw-majercik.com.
