Constance M. (Tetreault) Maurice, age 81, of Brooklyn, CT, died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at home with her loving companion, David A. Breton by her side.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Maurice, who passed away in 1997.  She leaves a son, Brian Maurice of Centerbrook, CT and his companion, Marianne Klewin; a daughter, Mary Jane Richardson and her husband David Richardson of Brooklyn; two grandchildren who were the light of her life, Bradley Maurice and his wife Tanya of Massachusetts and Katie Maurice and her companion Adam Rockwell, also of Brooklyn; two brothers, George Tetreault of Danielson and Gene Barrier of Sterling; and a sister, Claire Gaudreau of Rogers.   She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger Tetreault, Teddy Tetreault and Lucien Tetreault; and sisters, Arlene Godley and Frances Jernstrom.

Constance was born in the Moosup section of Plainfield and moved to Brooklyn when she married.  She was a retired cook, having worked many years in health care facilities.  Her passions included baking, crossword puzzles, outings with her loving companion, David, and spending time with her family.

A memorial services to celebrate Connie’s life is planned for Saturday, August 20th, at the Danielson Church of the Nazarene beginning at 4 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Nazarene, 440 Westcott Road, Danielson, CT 06239.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with arrangements.  A memorial guest book is available at www.shaw-majerck.com, where you may light a candle or share a message of condolence.
