Brooklyn, CT- Kathleen E. (Keranen) King, age 70, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Matulaitis Nursing Home, Putnam, Ct. 

She leaves a son, John A. Colvin Jr.of San Francisco, CA;  two daughters, Lydia K. Lagerberg of Danielson, CT, and Katrina King of Novato, CA; three brothers, Ken Al-Imam of Santa Ana, CA, David Keranen of Tustin, CA and Karl Keranen of Silverado, CA; her father, Robert Keranen of Tustin, CA.  She was predeceased by a sister, Camile Keranen of Tustin, CA. 

She was the daughter of Robert and the late Patricia (Wheeler) Keranen and lived in Brooklyn, CT for the past 11 years and prior to that living in Danielson.  She enjoyed needle point , cross stitch, crocheting , reading and was a member of the North East CT Interfaith Stitchers.

There are no calling hours, and all services are private.  Donations may be made in her memory to the Church of the Nazarene, Westcott St., Danielson, CT.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
