Vaughn F. Tennant, age 80, of Webster, died Thursday, April 13, 2017.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Patricia A. (Leon) Tennant of Webster; five sons, Richard Sebastian and his wife Katie of Virginia; Randy Tennant and his wife Rosa of New York, Rodney Tennant of Illinois, Rob Tennant and his wife Emma of Connecticut, and Daniel Tennant of New York; a sister, Altana Swank of New York; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Ryan Tennant of New York.

He was born in Van Honesville, NY, son of the late George and Esther (Echkler) Tennant and lived in Webster for the past ten years.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean War and was a retired heat-treater/welder at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Company.  He enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Webster Senior Center.

A funeral service will be held in Holy Trinity Church.  Date and Time will be announced.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Webster Senior Center.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may light a candle or post a condolence message.
