Plainfield, Ct- William A. Figueroa, age 76 died October 9, 2017 at the Univ. Of MA Healthcare Center, Worcester, MA.  He leaves three sons; Antonio Figueroa of Lebanon, CT, William Figueroa of Danielson, Ct and John Mayo of Plainfield, CT.  William also leaves his companion Linda A. (Mayo) Figueroa of Plainfield.  He also leaves seven grandchildren; Angela, William, Keisha Figueroa, Mateo and Jovan Ortiz and Hailey and Braedon Horn.  He has a sister Juanita in Puerto Rico and a brother Jose who predeceased him.

He was born in Puerto Rico son of the late Antonio and Anastasia (Maldonado) Figueroa and lived in Plainfield for the past 34 years, prior to that in Dayville.  He was a painter and of recent worked at Sorel’s Garage in Brooklyn, CT.  He enjoyed fishing and old cars.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11 AM – 1 PM in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA with private burial.  A service will be held at 12:45 PM in the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Puerto Rico Relief Fund.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
