Thompson - Mary F. Adamuska, age 94, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
She leaves two brothers, William Adamuska of Dudley and John Adamuska of Wilsonville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Frank Adamuska, Andrew Adamuska, Martin Adamuska and Stephen Adamuska; and by a sister, Ann M. Adamuska.
She was born in Oakland, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie (Vajcovec) Adamuska and lived in the Wilsonville section of Thompson most of her life. She was a retired supervisor, having worked for many years at American Optical in Southbridge. She was an avid gardener.
Although Mary was not the baker that Ann was, she was the baker's assistant, and the family will miss the cabbage bread.
Mary's funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 am in Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley Hill Road, Dudley. Burial will be in Saint Anthony Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 8:30 am to 9:45 am.
