Linda Marie Metayer

West Brookfield, MA – Linda Marie (Dumont) Metayer age 81 passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, with her family at her side.  She leaves her husband of sixty-three years, Theodore E. Metayer. She also leaves sons, Theodore Metayer Jr. and his wife Tina of Ludlow, Gregory Metayer and his wife Pamela of West Brookfield and a daughter, Michelle Golinsk and her husband Patrick of Port St. Lucie, FL, two grandchildren, Isaac Graves of W. Brookfield, and Theodore Metayer III of Ludlow and a sister, Shirley Koch of Ludlow.

She was born in Chicopee daughter of the late Armand Dumont and Rita (St. Marie) Dumont and lived in the area most of her life. Linda was owner of Heavenly Inspirations flower and gift shop , Ludlow, MA, for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hamden, MA.  There are no calling hours, and all services are private.  Please omit flowers and donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or the Shriner’s Hospital.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
