Adrienne C. (Martel) Bumpus

Charlton-Adrienne C. (Martel) Bumpus age 79 passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Webster Manor Healthcare Center, Webster.  She leaves her husband of 58 years, Everett A. Bumpus Jr. , her son James E. Bumpus of Southbridge, a daughter Linda D. Froehlich of Charlton her grandchildren, Kelly Trainor, Brian Froehlich Jr., AEAR Jonathan Froehlich US Navy, and Nathanial Mauke, great grandchildren, Breaden, Landon and Sebastian Froehlich and Emmalyn Devries.  She had a daughter who predeceased her, Debra L. Trainor of N. Brookfield and a grandson Kevin Trainor.   She also leaves a brother Ernest (Father Luke Martel) of Kenya and a sister Doris Densten of NH.  She also had a brother and a sisters who predeceased her Leo, Gertrude and Irene.

She was born in Sturbridge daughter of the late Ernest Martel and Gertrude (Vachon) Martel and lived in Charlton for the past 55 years prior to that living in Southbridge.  Adrienne was a seamstress at the Overlook Masonic Home, Charlton.  She was active at the Charlton Senior Center and did much volunteer work in the town of Charlton.  There are no calling hours, all services are private.  Burial will be private in West Ridge Cemetery, Charlton.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA had been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
