Amanola Vongphosy Ba, age 51, of Webster, died Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.

She leaves her husband of 35 years, Kong Ba of Webster; a son, Augustin Ba of Boston; a daughter, Melissa Ba of Webster; four brothers, Michael Vongphosy of Webster, Phetsana Vongphosy of Sacramento, CA, Paul Vongphosy of Kansas, Intha Pathammavong of Webster and Anthony Sida of Sacramento; three sisters,  Diana Sida of Sacramento, Kimberly Sida of Sacramento and Khampou Sida.  She was predeceased by a son, Alexander Ba on November 4, 2007.

She was born in Vientiane, Laos, daughter of Khampong Vongphosy and Vatsana Pathammavong and lived in Sacramento before moving to Webster twenty-three years ago.  She was a poker dealer at Foxwoods Casino.

Amanola was an incredible, selfless woman. She worked hard for so many years to provide for her family and make sure everyone around her was taken care of including her son, Alex, who died of Brain cancer when he was 10 years old. She was surrounded by all of her loved ones during the past two years of her life who made sure she lived life to the fullest. Her two amazing friends, Stephen and Kim Kennedy, who were like brother and sister and best friends Samantha and Oscar, spent every Sunday with her. She will be truly missed. 

Calling hours at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster are Friday, October 7, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 8, 2016, from 12 Noon to 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow at All Faith Crematory, 7 Island Road, Worcester at 3:00 pm.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may light a candle or post a condolence message.
