Donald Shenette, age 58, of Oxford, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Linda A. (Goddard) Shenette of Oxford; two sons, Eric D. Shenette and his wife Lindsay of Oxford, Corey D. Shenette and his wife Tara of Oxford; two grandchildren, Travis and Jenna.  He also leaves his father-in-law, Paul Jolin and his mother-in-law, Thelma Jolin, both of Charlton.  His wife Linda is thankful for 37 wonderful years and his children are thankful for all the love he had to give them.

He was born in Webster, son of the late Francis W. and Barbara L. (Druzbicki) Shenette and lived in Oxford most of his life.  He was a mechanic at Midstate International Truck in Worcester. He enjoyed fishing, camping, mechanics and spending quality time with his family.

Fish on, and greeny will ride again.

There are no calling hours.  Funeral services and burial are private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cat Connection in Webster.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with arrangements.
