Dr. Anthony R. Kopas DDS

Worcester- Dr. Anthony Robert Kopas, DDS, age 85, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.  He leaves his loving companion, Lynda Schaefer, of Worcester, two sons, Anthony R. Kopas II of Wrentham, MA, and Atty. Jan Adam Kopas II and his wife Cheryl of Worcester, MA, as well as two daughters Kathleen Kopas, of Webster, MA, and Mary Lou Kopas and her husband Atty. Charles Caldart of Seattle Washington.  He also leaves nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  He had four brothers and three sisters who predeceased him: John, Francis Charles, Charles Francis and Joseph Kopas, Anna Kopas Placzek, Mary Kopas Kozlowski, and Albina Kopas Leslie.

He was born at home in Dudley, MA to the late John A. Kopas and Theresa (Senkarik) Kopas.  Dr. Kopas lived in Worcester for over 55 years. He was a US Air Force Veteran and had a dental practice in Worcester for 45 years.  He was a member of the American Dental Association and his greatest joy was flying.

There are no calling hours.  A private graveside service will be held with military honors in St. Anthony Cemetery Webster.
