East Machias, Maine - Gary S. Couture, age 60, passed away on April 12, 2017 at his home in East Machias ME.

Gary was born March 15, 1957, in Webster MA, son of Janet E (Caissie) Couture and the late Hector J Couture.  He is survived by his longtime companion and caregiver, Naomi Smith of East Machias; his son, Gary Jr of Charlton MA; a daughter, Sherry of Warren MA; his brothers, Hector J (Butch) of Spencer MA, David B of North Oxford MA, also many aunts, uncles cousins and his very good friend Alfred Darmanin of Miami Lakes FL.

Gary ran a successful drywall business and at one time a bait and tackle shop. Gary was an avid bass fisherman and had a love for the outdoors. He also loved a good poker game. He played hockey and baseball in his younger years and had many friends who will greatly miss him.

Services and burial will be private.
