Charlton- James W. Christian age 75 died Thursday, July 27, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He leaves his wife of 57 years, Ellen-Ann (Mckinstry) Christian.  Besides his wife he is survived by five sons; James, Paul, Daniel, Christopher and Michael Christian all of Charlton and a sister, Mary Margaret Christian of Oxford , thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, Lance Corporal Russell T. Christian.

He was born in Worcester son of the late James Christian and Evelyn (Brothers) Christian and lived in Charlton for the past 50 years prior to that living in Oxford.  He was retired from Montrose Wire Corp where he was a technician.  He enjoyed tinkering with automobiles.  He was known to make frequent stops at N+J Donuts in Oxford.  His greatest joy, was quality time with family.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA Thursday, August 3, 2017, 5pm-7pm.  Omit flowers and donations may be made in his memory to Charlton Police Dept. or the Oxford VFW.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
