Webster- Marilyn N. (Carpenter) Van Dyke age 82 passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at Harrington Hospital, Southbridge. She leaves a son Robert Van Dyke of Spencer, four daughters, Kathleen Knapp of Putnam, CT., Karen Swanson of Grafton, MA, Rita Todd of Stafford, CT and April Daviau of Dudley, MA, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and four sisters, Bernard Carpenter of Quinebaug, CT, Eileen Fougere of North Grosvenordale, CT, Joyce Bomba of Webster, MA, Evelyn Bates of Thompson, CT and Phyllis Spurgeon of Woodstock, CT, She also was predeceased by a granddaughter in 2019.
She was born in Wilsonville, CT, daughter of the late Walter Carpenter and Antoinette (Latour) Carpenter and lived in Wilsonville most of her life. She was the manager at the former Hess gas station in Dudley, MA for many years. At Marilyns request there are no calling hours and flowers are to be omitted. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to charity of donors choice. . The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.
