Patricia Helen (Shedd) Browning, 74, of Paxton, MA, wife of Robert N. Browning Jr., died peacefully on January 3, 2018 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by family. She was the mother of four children, Thomas Browning and wife, Michelle, Jefferson, MA; Robert Browning III and wife, Katherine, Auburn, MA; Elizabeth Browning and spouse, Maureen Mullins, Millbury, MA; Helen (Browning) Kuntz, and husband, Jerry Kuntz, Paxton, MA.. She was the grandmother of three grandchildren, J.Lee Kuntz, Goffstown, NH; Jason Kuntz,Troy, NH; Britni Browning, Jefferson, MA. She also had one great grandson, Joseph. She is also survived by her brother, Wesley M Shedd, and his wife Leticia; Aunt Rose and Uncle Arthur Reade; niece Maryjean Shedd, nephews George Shedd and Wesley Shedd IV, and several cousins. Patricia graduated Auburn High School in 1961 with high honors. Her poem “Deep Emotions” was published in the 1958-1959 Fall Semester Anthology of Northeastern Denominational High School Poetry and received a DAR Composition Award. Patricia ran the hot lunch program for South Lancaster Academy, and worked as Executive Secretary for two nurseries and a nursing home. She enjoyed writing, reading, home decorating and gardening. She brightened our lives with beautiful flower gardens, had a hummingbird land in her hand, and enjoyed seeing manatees up close in Florida.

A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, most recently in Gardner, MA, Patricia encouraged others with a greeting card ministry. She will rest in peace until her loving savior comes to take her home. A private memorial service is planned for May, 2018. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Patricia's memory to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602 .  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-mjercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
