Rev. Charles "Bud" Dutram Obituary

Rev. Charles J. Dutram “Bud”, of Dudley, MA and Ogunquit, ME passed away at the Rose Monahan Hospice Worcester, June29, 2018.  Born in Dudley, MA August 13, 1923 to Clement and Mary (Lee) Dutram graduated from St. Louis High school 1940. Entered the military during WWII, serving in the Army Air Corp. participating in the invasion of Normandy, and the Battle of the Bulge he earned 6 battle stars. Upon discharge he graduated from Mount St Marys College Emmitsburg, Maryland and St Johns Seminary Boston.  Ordained to the priesthood January 6, 1958 by Bishop John Wright, celebrating his 60th anniversery as a priest this year. Serving at numerous parishes in Worcester County as associate and pastor of St. Joseph”s Leicester, MA, St. Peter’s Northbridge, MA and St Bernadette”s Northboro, MA retiring in 1991.  He enjoyed many years of retirement in Ogunquit, especially spending time with his grandnephew Thacher.  He leaves a twin sister, Eileen M. Dutram of Dudley MA, predecesed by brother Alexander, sisters Mary, Pearl Dutram and Muriel King. He leaves nieces  Mary Kosiba, Linda Cunningham, Nancy Cole, Eileen Parenteau and a nephew Charles King, grandnephews Sean, Nigel Cunningham, Thacher Parenteau, grandniece Danielle Lusignan. Visitation was private.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Louis Church, Webster, MA with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Carmelite Sisters of the Eucharist, 188 Old Worcester Rd Charlton, MA 01507.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
