Sue Ann Canty Obituary
Webster – Sue Ann T. (Koziak) Canty, 70 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Lanessa Extended Care.
She is survived by her mother, Susan M. (Bielik) Koziak of Webster, a brother, Edward T. Koziak Jr. and wife Sherry of Charlton, 2 sisters, Madeline Nawrocki and husband Peter of Dudley, Jeanne Hackenson and husband David of Dudley, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her father Edward T. Koziak Sr. in 2005.
She was born in Webster and graduated Valedictorian of her class at St Francis Academy, Bethlehem, PA with the intentions of devoting her life to God in the convent. Unexpectedly her life changed, but she strived to overcome adversity and continued to pursue her passion for education and religion. She attended Clark University and WPI, retiring from WPI as a Coordinator of Communications and Technology.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the choir, and many local Bible study classes.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a kind and caring aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan, loved the beach, and her favorite cats Ebony, Domino, and Blackjack

A Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley, MA will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 10 A.M. and Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley, MA 01571 or to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road, East Brookfield, MA 01515. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA.
