Susan Anne Vogel was born November 12, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri and died on October 15, 2017 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Mom loved to laugh.  
She had a great sense of humor, and was always talking to others and making them smile too.
She genuinely cared about those around her, and liked to keep up with them, their families and their busy lives.  People were drawn to her.
She loved to dress nicely, shop for make-up with her granddaughter, and never left the house without lipstick – even in an emergency!  She loved to tour Boston with her son.
Mom had her battles, but she cared deeply for her family and loved to visit and talk on the phone with them as often as she could.
She will be reunited with her parents Elsie May Phillips and Richard Francis Phillips, and sisters Marilyn Lee and Judy Belsky, as she returns to Heavenly Father.  
She is survived by her daughter Nanci Nanney (Rodney), and sons Scott Vogel (Tanya) & Christopher Vogel (Mila) and her grandchildren Nathan, Elana and Eilah Nanney, and Kayleigh, Levi and Vivian Vogel.  She is also survived by her siblings Margaret ‘Peg’ Allen (John), Jean Schonhoff, Nancy Sprinkle (Randy) and John Phillips (Jean).
Memorial service to be held at 11:00am on October 27, 2017 at Valhalla Cemetery, 7600 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63133. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted withher arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle.
