Quinebaug, CT- Agnes G. (Galvin) Archambault age 88 past away peacefully with her family at her side, Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT. She was the wife of the late Raymond Archambault who died in 2007.  She leaves her son Paul and his wife Barbara Archambault of Quinebaug.  She also leaves 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews and cousins.  She also had 2 brothers and a sister that predeceased her, Francis , Joseph Fitzgibbons and Bridie McSweeney all of Quinebaug .  Agnes leaves a brother in law, Ernest Archambault and his wife Julie, 3 sister in laws; Ida Vlach and her husband Eddie, Irma Murzycki and her husband Joe and Ruth Kokocinski and Barbara Fitzgibbons. She was born in Quinebaug,  daughter of the late Nellie (Canty) Galvin and lived here all her life.  She was a teachers aid for many years in the Thompson School System.  She was a member of the Quinebaug Fire Dept. Auxiliary.  She enjoyed gardening, travel, Irish music, Cape Cod and Webster Lake.  The funeral will be held from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA Thur., Dec. 3, 2015 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Stephens Church, Quinebaug, CT and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley.  Calling hours in the funeral home will be Wed. Dec. 2, 2015 from 4 PM- 7 PM.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Quinebaug Fire Dept or the St. Stephens Church, Quinebaug,CT.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.
