Auburn- Alden V. Atchue age 86 died Feb. 28, 2016 , Sunday in the Knollwood Nursing Center in W. Boylston. He leaves his partner of 63 years, Charles Dagley of Auburn.  He also leaves a brother Garfield Atchue of Grafton and a sister, Barbara Comeau of Auburn.  He was predeceased by 3 brothers, Wallice, Bud and Herbert and sisters, Dorothy Nicholson, Evelyn Blanchard and Myrtle Strand.  He also leaves nephews and nieces.  He was born in Grafton son of the late, Herbert and Doris (Emino) Atchue and lived in Auburn for the past 10 years prior to that living in Worcester.  There are no calling hrs.  Donations in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.  All Services are private.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.
