North Grosvenordale, CT – Alma M. (Arpin) Sledzik, 70, passed away at the home of her daughter Kristine DiPasquale, surrounded by the love of her family, on February 25, 2021.

Alma was born in Webster, MA on December 9, 1950, daughter of the late Alphonse C. and Rose M. (Lucier) Arpin.  Throughout her life, Alma was an accomplished realtor, florist, and cosmetologist; for a time, she owned and operated her own beauty salon.  Alma was also a hypnotist; she was an artistic painter and loved to sing; she was also a member of the AKC, participating in many dog show competitions.

Being predeceased by her husband, the late Edward Sledzik Jr, Alma will be deeply missed by her daughters: Kerry Bishop and her husband Rich of Ocala, FL and Kristine DiPasquale and her husband Louie of North Grosvenordale, CT; two sisters: Rose and Joann; three grandchildren: Jaden, Gia, and Misty; her great-granddaughter Kathryn; she also leaves many relatives and dear friends.  Alma was also predeceased by her sister Yvonne and her grandson Ryan.

A Celebration of Alma's life will be schedule and announced at a later date.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
