Danielson- Angeline Viola (Russo) Bissonnette age 84 died Wed. Oct. 22, 2014 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT. Born in Putnam, she was a earlier resident of East Killingly and Dayville. She leaves 2 sons, Kenneth Bissonnette of Cooper City, Florida, Glen Bissonnette of Addison, NY and a son that predeceased her, Gary Bissonnette of Woodstock, 2 daughters; Tracy Lupien of Brooklyn, CT and Jill Menard of Danielson, CT. She also leaves a brother Mario Russo of CA and 2 brothers that predeceased her, Armand and Doninic Russo. She also leaves a sister Carmella Adams of Southington, CT, 12 grandchildren 6 great grand and 1 great great grandson.
A homemaker most of her life, she worked for Frito Lay in Dayville for many years. After retirement, she made her home in Woodstock, finding her most meaningful position with Day Kimball Hospital Homemakers, caring for the elderly.
Family was always the main focus of Angie's life , her family and friends meant the world to her and she devoted her time and boundless love to them. She was a communicant of the East Woodstock Congregational Church, where she continually volunteered her time and endless energy for numerous church fundraisers and events. She volunteered for civic and groups among them Habitat for Humanity.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private. Family and friends will gather at a Memorial Celebration for Angie at East Woodstock Congregational Church on 220 Woodstock Rd., in Woodstock, CT at 11 AM Service on Saturday, November 1, 2014.
