Anne Stockton Milnor, age 87, of Peabody Massachusetts, died peacefully on February 21, 2013 at Kaplan Family Hospice House.

In her final days she was surrounded by her loving husband, four children and spouses, and grandchildren.

In addition to being both a nurse and social worker, Anne's passions included: her delight in 5 granddaughters; her fierce independence of spirit and mind; reading; women's rights; Martha's Vineyard; and the women's group she formed and nurtured at Brooksby Village.

There will be no funeral services at this time.  At a later date a private memorial service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's memory may be made to:  Brooksby Village Staff Appreciation Fund, 200 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody, MA 01960.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is directing arrangements.
