Fitchburg, MA - Anthony "Tony" Mento, age 100, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018.  He leaves two daughters, Mary White of Shirley, MA and Carol Mento of Vernon, CT, two grandchildren, Lisa Jukes of Goffstown, NH and Steven Hyde of Dover NH, and three great-grandsons, Christopher, Ryan and Carter.  He was predeceased by his former wife, Jane Mento of Ayer, MA, his brothers, John, Peter, Leo and Frank, and his sisters, Mary, Josephine, Rose and Frances.   He was born in Roxbury, MA, son of the late Peter Mento and Angela (Santoro) Mento.  Tony proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
