Barbara Ann-Rita (Mayette) Constantine
1936 - 2026
Oxford, MA – Barbara Ann-Rita (Mayette) Constantine passed away peacefully on August 8th, at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on February 20, 1936, in Dudley, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Gagnon and Dora Mayette. Barbara lived a full and beautiful life. As a member of St. Constantine and Helen Church, Barbara always looked forward to attending Sunday Mass with her daughter and son-in-law.
Barbara found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flower gardens and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her life was filled with unconditional love, blessings, kindness, and warmth.
She is survived by her devoted children, Stephen Constantine and his wife, Adelia (Rodrigues); Daniel Constantine and his wife, Kristin (Peters); Brenda (Constantine) Robillard and her husband, Christopher Dillon; and Michelle Constantine and her husband, Mark Dunham. She also leaves many beloved grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, as well as her brother-in-law, Charles Broskey, and a large and loving network of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, Demetri Constantine; her sister, Claire Gendron and her husband, Alfred; her sister, Pauline Broskey; and her brothers-in-law, Nicholas Constantine and his wife, Bertha, and Vasil ("Slim") Constantine and his wife, Beatrice.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 am-12:00 pm and a funeral service at 12 noon in the St. Constantine and Helen Church, 35 Lake Parkway, Webster, MA 01570. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 55 Worcester Road, Webster, MA 01570.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to St. Constantine and Helen Church, 35 Lake Parkway, Webster, MA 01570, or to the Alzheimer's Association .
