Webster – Barbara M. (Mott) L'Ecuyer, age 69, comforted by her family, lost her battle with cancer on Monday, January 28, 2013, at home.

A loving and dedicated mother, she leaves two sons, Roger K. L'Ecuyer of Virginia, Steven M. L'Ecuyer and his wife, Sheryl L'Ecuyer of Webster; three daughters, Diane O'Banion of Virginia, Rita Powell of Worcester and Susan L'Ecuyer of Worcester; two sisters, Janice Lengas of Sagamore, MA and Sandra Merchant of Texas; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She opened her heart to Ken Arsenault and Sue Butler. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Mott of Sandwich, MA.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John H. and Rita (Murry) Mott and lived in Worcester most of her life, moving to Webster three years ago.  She retired from National Envelope.  She enjoyed knitting, loved animals and aquariums.

Funeral services are private.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
