Obituary

Webster- Barbara Ann White, age 99, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Lanessa Extended Care in Webster. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph White Sr. and his wife Marguerite White of Webster.  She leaves two nephews, Joseph White Jr. of Springfield and Bruce White of Webster; two grand-nephews Joseph White of N. Hampton and Michael White of Lunenberg; a grand-niece, Wendy Reardon of Springfield. Barbara was born in Webster, daughter of the late Joseph F. and Frances R. (Gogolinski) White and lived here all her life. Barbara was the primary care giver to her Mother for many years.  She was retired from Wajer's Express, where she was an accounts receivable clerk. She was a member of Local 170 teamsters union, the hospital guild and active in her church.  During World War II, she was the tax collector in Webster. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica,53 Whitcomb Street, Webster.  Burial in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery. There will be a private calling hour for the family prior to the Mass.  Omit Flowers and donations may be made in her name to the St. Joseph School Fund.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, has been entrusted with her arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.
