Worcester – Bernardette S. McBride, 71, passed away on Wednesday March 18, 2020 while at home surrounded by the love of his family.

Bernardette is survived his son Christopher McBride; three daughters: Marcy Johnson, Bernadette McBride, and Angelee McBride; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Bernardette was born in Welch, West Virginia on October 31, 1948, son of Jhonny McBride and Roberta Overstreet Mitchell; he worked as and IT Technician for many years, earning his Master's degree in Computer Science; he also served honorably as a member of the United Sates Army.  In his spare time, Bernardette enjoyed writing music; he also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and he adored spending quality time with those he loved.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
