Sturbridge- Beverly A. (Gerstel) Richardson, age 62, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at her home. She leaves her husband of 26 years, Robert D. Richardson of Sturbridge; two daughters: Tina Plourde of Indian Land, SC, Tami (Plourde) Smith and her husband Don Smith of Enfield, CT; two sons: Clinton Dadian and wife Kristin Dadian of Colorado and Jody Richardson and his wife Lisa Richardson of Wales; seven grandchildren: Brendon LaPlante, Emily Smith, Samantha Plourde, Dylan Cheney, Alex Smith, Luke Richardson, Chloe Dadian; three great-grandchildren: Jaxson Lambert, Noelle-Juliette Winkler and Evangelina-Belle Plourde; two brothers: Dana Gerstel of West Warren and Alan Gerstel of Brookfield. She was predeceased by a brother and sister, Benjamin Gildert and Zina Lee Gerstel. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Gildert) Gerstel and lived in Sturbridge for the past 30 years. She was a cosmetologist and beautician, owning and operating Rapunzel's in Southbridge. She enjoyed quality time with her family, friends and her puppies. You are invited to celebrate the life of Beverly (Gerstel) Richardson. Making memories and devoting herself to the people she loved were to her the treasures she held closest to her heart. Each of YOU were cherished for your uniqueness. The only thing our mom loved as much as spending time focusing her attention on a loved one is to bring us all together under one roof. Please join the family in celebration of having experienced her selfless love by coming together in her honor on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm in the North Brookfield Sportsman Club, 20 Boynton Road, North Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Please arrange any small personal group gatherings through the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 372 North Main Street, North Brookfield, MA 01535. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements. A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post pictures/condolences/memories. Also a Facebook memorial page will be created for the purpose of ongoing sharing of memories and photos.
