Obituary

Beverly (Martin) Pacher 1947 - 2026

Beverly Pacher, 79, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 13, 1947, in Webster, Massachusetts, she was the cherished daughter of the late Stella and William Martin.

The youngest of five children, Beverly was predeceased by her siblings—Helene, Norma, Richard, and William—as well as by her son, Keith Pacher. Affectionately known as the "spitfire" of the family, she brought energy, humor, and an unforgettable smile wherever she went. Beverly had a special gift for keeping loved ones close, often reaching out with a phone call to check in, share a laugh, or simply say, "I love you."

Beverly spent much of her life in Webster and Dudley before settling in Oxford, Massachusetts. She is survived by her son, Leo Pacher, and his wife, Betsy, of Davidsonville, Maryland, and their children, Charlie and Katy; her late son Keith's wife, Bonnie, and their son, Corey, of Queensbury, New York; her daughter, Jennifer Tsoumakas, and her husband, Alex, of Dudley, Massachusetts, and their children, Olivia, Lexi, and Alexander; and her beloved great-grandson, Maximus, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her longtime friend, David Dion, of Dudley, Massachusetts.

After graduating from Fanning Trade School in Worcester, Beverly opened and ran The Wig Wagon in Webster. She later dedicated many years to caring for others, working as a nursing assistant at Hubbard Hospital and as an in-home caregiver for Southern Worcester County, where she served with compassion and kindness.

A woman of deep faith, Beverly was a devoted member of St. Louis Parish. She also volunteered at Sacred Heart Chapel and gave generously of her time in service to her church community.

Beverly will be remembered for her boundless generosity, her deep love of family, her thoughtful gestures, and her appreciation for flowers and birds. Her warmth, strength, and joyful spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Beverly's life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, beginning with calling hours at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home & Cremation, 48 School Street, Webster from 9:00 am to  10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Louis Church, Lake Street, Webster.  Burial will follow in Waldron Cemetery, Dudley.  A memorial guestbook is available at www.shaw-majercik.com or on the Facebook Page:  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.
