Worcester – Blanca Ortega, 42, passed away suddenly on Monday January 16, 2023.

Blanca was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in the area for most of her life; she was a free-spirited, and at times, a hard-headed person, but she was always full of love and caring concern for others.  Blanca loved her family and was devoted to serving those in need at Hotel Grace and the St. John's Food For the Poor Program.

Blanca will be deeply missed by her three sons and three daughters;  mother Jeannette Rosario of Aibonito, PR; her sisters Jenny Rodriguez of Lawrence and Jennifer Frias of Tewksbury; she also leaves many relatives and dear friends.

All are welcome to attend calling hours on Sunday January 22, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at St. John's Church, 44 Temple Street Worcester, MA.  Funeral and Committal Services will be held in Manati, Puerto Rico.
