Charles F. Dolson 1962 - 2026
It is with both heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Charles F. Dolson, who departed this world on June 14, 2026, one day after his 64th birthday. Charles passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus in Worcester, following a courageous and prolonged battle with kidney disease.
Born on June 13, 1962, in the coastal town of Oceanside, California, Charles was the beloved son of the late Terry Dolson Sr. and Barbara (Bower) Dolson. Their legacy of love and nurturing spirit lived on in Charles, who dedicated his life to his family and community.
Charles found the love of his life in Audrey (Coulter) Dolson, whom he married on February 14, 2007, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster, Massachusetts. Together, they shared a bond that was strong, filled with laughter, devotion, and shared dreams. Their love story is survived by their cherished daughter, Cheryl Dolson of Webster, MA, who was the light of Charles's life. A proud and loving brother, Charles leaves behind his siblings: John Dolson and his wife Haki of Michigan, Terry Dolson III and his wife Michelle of Revere, MA, Helen Lozano and her husband Elario of Texas, and Susan Therrian and her husband Stephen of New Hampshire. Charles was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him for his warmth, wit, and the boundless joy he brought to family gatherings.
Professionally, Charles was a skilled baker at the former La Ronga Bakery in Somerville, Massachusetts. Beyond his work, Charles was a man of great faith, deeply involved with his parish community at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster. Charles's life was characterized by his humor, which was infectious to all who knew him. He had a unique ability to make others laugh.
A strong family man, Charles cherished the relationships he built with his wife, daughter, and extended family. He also found joy in bowling and swimming, activities that allowed him to connect with others and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
