Danielson, CT- Charles T. Sheppard, age 74,  died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Thelma L. (Cline) Sheppard; two sons, Charles J. Sheppard of California and William N. Sheppard of Brooklyn, CT; one daughter, Tracy and her husband Steven Caron of Inverness, FL; two brothers, Oliver and Joseph Sheppard; a sister, Phyllis Arbogast, all of West Virginia; four grandchildren; Alyssa, Thomas, Nikolous and Chloe; nieces and nephews. He was born in Oakmont, West Virginia, son of the late Charles N. Sheppard and Phyllis L. (Rhodes) Sheppard and lived in Virginia before moving to Danielson 56 years ago.  He was a Vietnam Era United States Army Veteran.  He was a maitenance worker at Wal-Mart in Putnam.  He enjoyed cross word puzzles and solitaire. There are no calling hours.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 7 PM in the First Apostolic Church 6 Academy Street, Danielson, CT. 06239.  The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster has been entrusted with his arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.  The family requests donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
