Danielson, CT – Clara "Granny Franny" (Burton) Poitras, 62, passed away at the Day-Kimball Hospital on Monday February 21, 2022.

Clara was born in Ruidoso, New Mexico on August 25, 1959 daughter of the late William and Alice (Booth) Burton; she was very crafty especially with sewing and knitting skills.  Clara also enjoyed using the computer, taking care of her animals and spending time with her beloved grandchildren; she was certainly her own woman.

Clara is survived by her loving husband Mark Poitras; her daughter Connie Rivera and her Companion Jonathan Bain; her brothers David Burton and his wife Melissa, and Kenny Burton; her sister Karen Burton; five grandchildren, as well as many relatives and dear friends.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to your local animal shelter.
