Worcester - Clifford M. Whitney, 71,  of Worcester died unexpectedly at home Friday, May 29, 2020.

Born in Gardner, he was the son of Quimby Q. Whitney and the late Louise E. (Murdock)Whitney. Clifford was a long time resident of the city, attending and graduating from the Clarke School For The Deaf.

He leaves behind his brothers, Quimby Jr. and his wife Elaine of Phillipston, Gerald and his wife Maria of Warwick, Jeffrey and his wife Denise of Missoula, MO, Glenn and his wife Kathy of Phillipston, Frank and his partner Ann of Barre and a sister Beverly of Orange.; He was predeceased by a brother Bruce of Phillipston and a sister Lois Kwiatkowski of Worcester. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Clifford was a long time employee, retiring with Imperial Distributions and a life-long member oft the Worcester Deaf Club where had been a member for 48 years serving as Vice Presidentf from 1977-1978 and as Secretary during the years of 1983-1986. He loved his family and thought of them often. A special thank you to his niece Anna Kwiatkowski and her boyfriend Daniel Casella who helped take care of him over the years.
