Worcester – David S. Berenson, age 87, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at home.

He leaves a daughter, Rebecca S. Berenson of San Diego, CA.; a son, Mark S. Berenson of Massachusetts; a sister, Marjorie Pearl of Peabody.

David was born in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Ezra and Mildred (Bloomfield) Berenson and lived in Lawrence before moving to Worcester 65 years ago.  He was a 1942 graduate of Lawrence High School.  Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and was a World War II veteran.  After his discharge, he enrolled in Burdett College, earning his degree in 1950.

David owned and operated David's Carpet Cleaning.  He was also an Advertising Salesman having been employed by the Jewish Civic Leader in Worcester.
