Obituary

David N. Germain, age 75, of East Brookfield, died Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Overlook Masonic Health Center, Charlton.

His wife, Lillian M. (Ruell) Germain died September 3, 2013.  He leaves two daughters, Bobbi M. Germain of Brimfield and Davida L. Germain of East Brookfield; a brother, Ronald E. Germain of Paxton; two sisters, Phyllis Gilles and Caroline Gemme; a granddaughter, Michelle Palmer of Brimfield.  He was predeceased by his step-son, Charles G. Hoffman.

David was born in Auburn, son of the late Paul P. and Margaret (Nordborg) Germain and lived in Brimfield for 45 years.  He previously lived in Worcester.  David was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for 51 years at Harr Ford in Worcester.  He raised homing pigeons, loved the outdoors and fishing.

There are no calling hours.  Funeral services are private.  Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Joseph Church, Main Street, North Grosvenordale, CT 06255.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
