David E. Murphy Sr., age 64 of Warren, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.

He leaves his wife, Gloria J. (Hill) Murphy of Warren; his children, David Murphy Jr. and his companion, Tracy Rominack, William Murphy, Angel Barhost, Christopher Murphy and his wife Heather, John Gancorz and his companion, Donna Smith, Laurie Ann Labonte and her husband Gary Labonte Sr., David Gancorz and his wife Patty Gancorz, James Murphy and his wife Pam Murphy, Tom Murphy, Chanly Murphy, Pholy Murphy, Lisa Murphy, Dina Murphy; his siblings, Arnold Murphy, Junior Murphy, and Johnny Murphy; 22 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, William Murphy.

David was born in Sidney, Ohio, son of the late Elige and Mary (Jackson) Murphy.  He was a truck driver for Truss Engineering.
