Deborah L. (Sheldon) Pratt, age 62, of Woodstock, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 at UMASS Memorial Health Care - University Campus, Worcester.

She leaves her son, Joshua Pratt of Woodstock; her companion James Pratt of Woodstock, a sister, Susan J. Fallenius and her husband Eric of Woodstock; two brothers, Wayland N. Sheldon Jr and his wife Nancy of Woodstock and Ronald Sheldon and his wife Dianne of Pomfret.

She was born in Putnam, daughter of the late Wayland N. Sr. and Hazel F. (Currier) Sheldon, and lived in Woodstock all her life.  She was executive secretary at Putnam High School and was also the assistant atheletic director. She was a member of the Putnam Lions Club, was secretary and part of the support crew Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department and was very involved with community volunteer work.

There are no calling hours.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 1-4 PM at the Woodstock Fair Grounds Agricultural Building.  Donations may be made to the Deborah L.
