Whitinsville – Diane Rodriguez-Smith, 58, passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday June 22, 2022.

Diane was born in Worcester on May 27, 1964 and has lived in the area all her life; she very much enjoyed crafting, reading, baking, cooking, and playing board games on family game night.

Diane is survived by her companion Robert Shuman of Whitinsville; her mother Donna Rolfsman of Millbury; her step-mother Linda Drake of Hardwick; her son Anthony Smith of Worcester; three daughters: Samantha Smith of Worcester, Stephanie Rodriguez-Smith of Worcester, and Julieanna Mastroianni and her husband Torre of Worcester; her brother Brian Smith and his wife Lisa of Worcester; her sister Melissa Scola and her husband Anthony of Worcester; her grandson Jackson Prince; she also leaves many nieces, relatives, and dear friends.  Diane was predeceased by her husband Angel Rodriguez, her daughter Sabrina Rodriguez-Smith, her father Robert Smith, and her brother Richard Smith.

A Private Committal Service will be held in the Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
