Donald J. Arsenault, age 78, of Leominster, Massachusetts, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves his wife, Janet R. (Guy) Arsenault of Leominster; a son, Michael D. Arsenault of Barre, MA.; two daughters, Kathleen Karge of Northborough and Donna L. Bonora of Fitchburg; four brothers, six sisters; seven granchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by two brothers.

Donald was born in Leominster, son of the late Albert and Exilda (Maillet) Arsenault and most of his life in Fitchburg before relocating with his wife to Port Saint Lucie, Florida, returning to the area and living in Leominster for the past five months.  He was a Union Carpenter and was the Vice-President at Eastern General.  He was a member of the Local Union #107.  Additionally, he was a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus, in Port Saint Lucie.  He was a member of the Holy Family of Nazareth Parish in Leominster, and was an accomplished stained glass artist.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013, at 10:00 am in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA.  There no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory be made to the Foundation of PSP - Cure PSP, 30 East Padonia Road, Suite 201, Timonium, MD 21093.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA is directing arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com .
