Webster - Donald F. Racicot, age 66, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at a gathering following the funeral for his wife, Joan F. (Kubiak) Racicot, who died, August 1, 2012.

He leaves a son, Matthew Racicot and his wife Kathleen Racicot of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandra Racicot of New Bedford.

Donald was born in Webster, son of the late Edger and Beatrice Racicot.

He was a retired United States Army veteran, having served in Vietnam and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

There are no calling hours.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, East Main Street, Webster. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, is directing arrangements.
