Worcester- Donna M. Leria, 65, died on June 6, 2015, Saturday,  after a long fight with Younger-Onset Alzheimer's Disease. She is survived by: her devoted wife of 27 years, Kristi Voelkerding (and their dog, Ripley) of Worcester, son Davide (wife, Diane, and their daughter, Jenna) Leria – all of Woburn. Son Eric  (wife, Jennifer, and their three children, Charis, Alyssa, and Eric Jr) Leria – all of Florida. She is also survived by all the  friends, relatives, colleagues, clients, and patients whose lives she touched, and in whose memories she will remain. In 1993 Donna received her BSN from Salem State's nursing program. Prior to her nursing career Donna was a dedicated and beloved staff member of Wellspring House in Gloucester where in her position as Housing Advocate she helped homeless families find permanent housing. A special thank you to the staff of St Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, especially the amazing team that supports the residents of the Special Care Unit. Services will be private.
