Brookfield – Dorothy F. (Florence-Krukowsky) Washburn, 67, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 12, 2014.  Having been preceded in death by her loving husband Albert P. Washburn Sr., Dorothy is survived by: two sons: Albert P. Washburn Jr. of Claremont, NH and Jamey C. Washburn of Webster, MA; one daughter: April M. Washburn of Brookfield; one sister: Joanne M. Carkin and her husband Thomas of Webster, MA; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.  Dorothy was born in Webster, MA on April 19, 1947, daughter to Francis C. and Victoria (Mailloux) Krukowsky; she was an active member of the Assembly of God Church of Webster where she served as a Bible Study teacher.  Dorothy was also a lover of animals and supported the work of the ASPCA for many years.  There will be no calling hours.  Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home 48 School St. Webster, MA.  To share a memory or offer condolences, a guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com.
