Auburn- Dorothy L. (App) Horn, age 103, died at her home on Monday April 25, 2016. She was the wife of the late Dr. Robert C. Horn Jr. MD.  She leaves a a son, Dr. Thomas L. Horn of North Grosvenordale, CT; a daughter, Ethel M. Smith of Washington;  seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; she was predeceased by a son, Robert C. Horn III of CA, and by two sisters. She was born in Allentown, PA and lived in Auburn for the past 3 1/2 years, prior to that living in Deerborn, Michigan.  She had her associates degree from Mount Ida College in Newton, MA and was it's oldest living Alumni.  She was a accomplished pianist and had the gift of playing by ear.  She also enjoyed knitting.
