Obituary

Dudley- Dorothy (Antonson) Kelly, age 93,  passed away January 16th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.  Dot was a loving and generous mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Dot was born in Barrington RI., daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Guerin) Antonson.  She grew up in Webster MA and was married to Thomas Kelly for 53 years until his death in 1999.  The couple raised their 4 children Tommy, Eddy, Donny and Maureen. Dot worked for 25 years at Anglo Fabrics in Webster, retiring in 1983.  In their retirement years Dot and Tom enjoyed camping and babysitting their grandchildren. Dot (Nanny) was so proud of her family and especially loved being a grandmother to her 9 grandchildren, Holly, Heather, Jason, Erin, Thomas, Brooke, Meghan, Jillian, and Kathryn and her 6 great grandchildren, Drew, Hannah, Kailey, Patrick, Sunny, and Everly. Dot especially loved to read and do word puzzles and took great pride in her garden.  She loved her many friends at Joshua Place where she lived for over 30 years. Dot leaves behind her 3 sons; Thomas Kelly and his wife Fran of  Callabash NC, Edward Kelly and his wife  Luann   of Punta Gorda, FL, Donald Kelly and his wife  Deena of  Douglas MA and her daughter, Maureen  wife of  Matthew Kline of North Brookfield, MA. She also leaves behind her sister Mildred Kuszewski of Dudley, MA , and 2 brothers, Donald Antonson and his wife Elaine of Wilsonville CT and Andrew Antonson and his wife Lorette of Putnam CT. She was pre-deceased by her sister Edith Lazarowski of Dudley, Ma. Nanny will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Because of the loving, thoughtful person that Dot was, she donated her body to the UMASS Anatomical Gift Program.  A life celebration mass will be held in her honor this summer.  She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley.  Donations may be made in her memory to the church. The Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster has been entrusted with Dorothy's arrangements.  A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post your condolences or memories.
