Quinebaug, CT - Edmund W. Swierzbin, 81, passed away at Harrington Memorial Hospital on October 21, 2015; He is survived by his longtime companion Sophie A. Desmarais; his step-son: Kenneth Noonan of Thompson, CT;  his sister: Diane Swierbin of New Jersey. Edmund was born in Webster, MA on May 24, 1934; He resided in Dudley, MA for most of his life, and moved to Quinebaug two years ago.  Edmund served his country honorably in the United States Navy during Korean conflict. He had a passion for music, and played the harmonica in several bands over the years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
