Edward Paul Mozdzierz, 45, of Worcester, died suddenly Friday, February 22, 2013.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Mozdzierz, and her companion, Syl Hryzan; his son, Thomas Archambeault; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Piechowiak, of Webster; his granddaughter, Lilah Archambeault; and his long-time companion, Sandra Pizzotti, her daughter, Stephanie Pizzotti and grandchildren, Tyler Deso-Obert and Abigail Obert. He is also survived by his uncle, Francis Piechowiak and his wife Nancy, of Charlton, and his aunt, Ann Piechowiak and her companion, Jim Brinson, of Worcester.

Ed worked construction for many years and owned his own logging business, Mozdzierz and Son Logging. He earned numerous certificates in forestry and construction over his lifetime. Ed will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. To Ed, family and friends meant everything to him.

There are no calling hours, and burial will be private. A memorial service for Ed will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Dudley, on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Ed's granddaughter Lilah's education and sent to 144 West Main Street, Dudley, MA 01571 or the charity of your choice . Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
